COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL SUPPLY LLC
SUMMARY INFORMATION
Medical practices continue to
struggle to balance increasing workforce, technology, training, and other
operations costs in reduced revenue environment.
Comprehensive Medical Supply LLC (“CMS”) is a network which will provide its participating private medical practices (“Participants”) with an opportunity to reduce supply costs by sharing supply purchase expertise and data and maximizing supply management opportunities.
** Participants will have access to national and regional supply
contracting for high value products and services, to new or enhanced supply
contracts and sophisticated supply chain management, and to greater price,
delivery, and other market leverage than is otherwise available to any one
Participant.
** Participant must sign a Participant Agreement. CMS will receive certain fees from vendors or other third parties and must report these fees to Participants.
** Participant will designate CMS and other parties designated by CMS (including VHA Southeast) as its purchasing agents, Participant will be responsible for placing orders directly with vendors and paying all purchase invoices, and Participant must report purchase information to CMS. CMS is working with PSS for distribution of a majority of supplies.
** CMS and other parties designated by CMS (including VHA Southeast) will use purchase information from Participants to negotiate prices, product delivery, and other terms and conditions for items in the CMS formulary; these terms and conditions will be available to all Participants.
** Participant must purchase items from the CMS formulary, but exempt product purchases (for better pricing or delivery schedule or health and safety reasons) will be permitted. All Participant purchase information and all purchase terms and conditions and related information is confidential and cannot be disclosed to others.
** Participants will have input for products listed on CMS formulary and for services and technology offered by CMS. CMS will negotiate volume and value contracts for specific products and services based on Participants’ commitments to make specific levels of purchases of specific products or services.
